Finchale Open Golf Championship 2008
Gordon Brown Associates May 21st proved the perfect day for Finchale to hold its annual Open Golf Championship for the College's corporate supporters at Ramside Hall Golf and Country Club, Durham City. Five teams took part, two from Gordon Brown Associates, one from Northumbrian Water, one from Whitfields Building Services and a team of staff from Finchale College. A good day was had by all and one of the teams from Gordon Brown Associates, pictured, won the coveted team trophy. David Heads won the best player award and Stephen Pybus won the best pin, both players from Gordon Brown Associates. Paul Herring from Northumbrian Water won the longest drive. The day was a great success and gave the College plenty of opportunity to thank our loyal corporate sponsors and continue the successful relationship Finchale has developed with them over the years. Next year's competition will be held at Beamish Park Golf Club on 20th May. If any business is interested in competing in 2009's championship then please contact Brian Craggs:
