EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
This course will provide you with the traditional and modern practical painting decorating skills that are required in the construction and allied industries.
This course is intended to help you prepare and progress to employment of more than 16 hrs per week in a wide variety of jobs that are constantly being advertised for the Local Employment Partnerships
On successful completion of this course you will have the necessary skills and Knowledge to apply for vacancies in the construction property environment sector which will also offer you an opportunity of self employment.
THE COURSE
The Programme offers you the opportunity to achieve a Construction diploma Level I or II in the following areas.
- Health & Safety
- Communication
- Building Methods
- Access equipment
- Preparing Surfaces
- Brush and roller work
- Paper Hanging
- Specialist Decorative Effects
- HVLP Spraying
COURSE LENGTH
The length of the course is flexible - up to a total of 46 weeks, which includes a period of work experience up to 10 weeks and 20 days holiday.
