This course is intended to help you prepare and progress to employment of more than 16 hrs per week in a wide variety of jobs that are constantly being advertised for the Local Employment Partnerships
This course will give you the necessary skills to apply for jobs across the commercial and public sectors in organisations which have a need for the maintenance of networked computer systems. Your skills will also be particularly relevant to ICT Retail Businesses.

- Network Security
Examples of technologies, processes or tasks pertaining to these objectives included the function of common networking protocols, commonly used TCP and UDP default ports, MAC addressing, standard cable types and their properties, common connector types and network topologies.

COURSE LENGTH
The length of the course is flexible - and will in general, include a period of work placement and holidays. This course must be taken as an addition to one of the other technical courses run in the college.
