EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
To gain employment in the Distribution field, you will need to be able to assist with a variety of warehousing responsibilities to meet company demands. A proficient understanding of delivery of goods, dispatch, pick stock and process orders and handle stock storage is also required.
Good communication skills along with accurate skills in information technology are essential for today's working environment.
This course is intended to help you prepare and progress to employment of more than 16 hrs per week in a wide variety of jobs that are constantly being advertised for the Local Employment Partnerships
On successful completion of this course you will have the necessary skills to gain employment as a warehouse operative, store person, warehouse order picker/packer, warehouse stock controller, trade counter assistant, fork lift truck driver.
THE COURSE
A range of selected specialist skills are available:
- Health and Safety
- Effective working relationships
- Moving goods
- Receiving goods
- Placing goods in storage
- Processing orders for dispatch
- Assemble orders for dispatch
- Dispatch goods for delivery
Training is also available in:
fork lift truck operations
COURSE LENGTH
The length of the course is flexible - up to a total of 44 weeks, which includes a period of work experience up to 10 weeks and 20 days holiday.

RTITB Fork Lift Truck Operators Certificates in Counterbalance and Reach
